Well hello there, Marlana. I'm so glad you found us here at planDisney.
As you've pointed out, the
dining plan that you've purchased for your
Walt Disney World Resort package begins on the day of check-in. While there isn't a specific
time on the day of check-in that it starts, your meals and snacks are credited to your account once you've checked in. So as long as you've checked in, you can begin to redeem those meals and snacks at
participating locations. There
is a time at which it expires, however, and that's at midnight on the day of your check-out.
It's important to note that even if you have the
Disney Dining Plan, which includes 1
table-service meal per night of your stay, you should still make
advanced dining reservations for these locations. You can begin to make these reservations starting 60 days before your arrival date at 6 a.m. EST. And since you're staying at a
Disney Resorts Collection Hotel, you can book them for your entire vacation at that time (up to 14 days). I would recommend making hard-to-get reservations for later on in your vacation as fewer people will have had access to those dates.
Marlana, I wish you many magical adventures and delectable
culinary delights. If you have any other questions,
I'm happy to help!
They need a hero to tell them that sometimes the impossible can become possible,
Matt
