    In regards to California Grill, I know you can stay or return after your reservation to see the fireworks, but if you have a late reservation, can you go up early to see them?

    California Grill and Steakhouse 71 are two of my favorite dining locations at Walt Disney World Resort, and they both happen to be housed within Disney’s Contemporary Resort! 

    While you most likely won’t be able to get into the restaurant (California Grill) before your table is ready, you can still view the fireworks at Disney’s Contemporary Resort if you arrive early! Head to the 4th floor of the hotel and visit the observation deck in the back right corner of the 4th floor. If you have a difficult time finding a place to view the Magic Kingdom Park fireworks before your reservation, just ask a Cast Member where you’ll be able to view them and they’ll happily lead the way!
