    Hi! Regarding the pool slide at POR (I'm assuming there is a slide), how deep is the water at the end of the slide and also, are kids allowed to wear goggles on the slide (some pool slides here at home won't allow it)? Can parents go down with kids? Thx

    Hi Rebecca!  The slide at Port Orleans Riverside brings back so many memories as this is the slide one of my children first learned use a slide by himself (when he was much younger).  Anyway, the depth of the water at the bottom of the slide is 3 1/2 feet. My children have been allowed to wear goggles that cover your eyes but if you have the mask type that also cover your nose, those are not allowed on the slides.  Parents are welcome to use the slides but you can not slide with your child.  Parent supervision is permitted at the bottom of the slide so what I've done in the past is go down first and wait at the bottom for my kids.
