Regarding Pirate adventure from POR-Riverside: Is it on a pontoon boat? (vs a cute pirate-ish boat). I see you reserve by phone, buy tickets before you board or do you have to pay ahead?  If so, what if they cancel b/c of rain? Thanks!

Greetings Stacy, welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your great question. How exciting that you're planning such a swashbuckling activity for your child! I have seen these special cruises sailing from various Disney Resort hotel marinas with a lot of happy little pirates on board.

The Bayou Pirate Adventure- Pirate Adventure Cruises leaves from Disney's Port Orleans Resort-Riverside marina in the pontoon boats for two-hour pirate fun. Children aged 4-12 will don the provided pirate head gear, a life-vest and be supervised by certified CPR trained Cast Members. Please call (407) WDW-PLAY and have your credit card ready for your telephone booking. Please consult the Cast Member to inform you of what happens in the event of inclement weather, as well as the cancellation policy in effect at the time of your telephone booking.

I hope your child has a grand pirate adventure on the Bayou Pirate Adventure and we look forward to being of assistance to you again in the near future with your Walt Disney World Resort vacation planning.

Wishing you a magical day, Stacy!
