Regarding Orlando Disney World, I wonder if I could see fireworks at Magic Kingdom on November 11th. I'm confused and worried because it is said that the Magic Kingdom closes at 7pm that day. I hope for your prompt and helpful reply. Thank you :)

Hey Howdy Hey Youngback and welcome to planDisney!

I am so excited that you will be visiting the Walt Disney World Resort later this year. One of the best ways to enjoy Magic Kingdom is to top off your night with the spectacular nighttime fireworks show Happily Ever After. Thank you for your question about your chance of seeing this show and I will be happy to provide you with more information.

Happily Ever After is the nighttime fireworks show available most nights in Magic Kingdom. This show typically runs every night, weather permitting, but several big events happen in the fall and winter that impact the show's availability. On November 11th of this year, Mickey's Verry Merry Christmas Party will be happening in Magic Kingdom from 7:00 PM to midnight. On the night of the parties, the park does close to Guests who have not purchased these special event tickets at 7:00 PM. Happily Ever After will not typically run on those nights, instead, a special Holiday-themed fireworks show, Minnie's Wonderful Christmas Fireworks Show, will take place later that night for partygoers.

If your goal was to see Happily Ever After in Magic Kingdom, I would highly suggest moving the date of your day in Magic Kingdom to either the 10th or 12th of November to be safe.

Your other option, if you just want to see fireworks that night, is either to purchase tickets for the Holiday party or to watch from afar. Tickets to Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party are on sale now and you can purchase them online. Make sure to act fast as these parties are popular and do tend to sell out.

On the night of the party, if you want to see the fireworks but not pay for the party tickets, you can do that from any of the Magic Kingdom resorts. My favorite place to watch fireworks in Magic Kingdom from outside the park is on the beach at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort. The music from the parks will be playing on the beach for a great experience with a fraction of the crowd. You can also grab a snack from Capt. Cook's or a Dole Whip from Pineapple Lanai to enjoy the full experience.

I hope this information helped so you can better plan your vacation. If you have any further questions please let us know, we are always happy to help!

    To Infinity and Beyond,
