Regarding the monorail that serves the TTC and the Magic Kingdom: Which route is the part of the loop that takes it through the Contemporary? Is it from the TTC to the MK, or from the MK to the TTC?

    Hi John!

A Walt Disney World vacation just wouldn't be complete for me without a ride on the monorail!

The monorail has two main routes. One takes you on a loop around the Magic Kingdom resort area. This includes stops at Magic Kingdom, The Contemporary Resort, the Transportation and Ticket Center, The Polynesian, and The Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, in that order. The other takes you from the Transportation and Ticket Center to Epcot, and back. There's also an express line that runs from Magic Kingdom to the Transportation and Ticket Center without making stops at the resorts.

If you plan on getting to the Contemporary Resort via monorail and are at the TTC, you'll board the resort/Magic Kingdom route, and it will be your fourth stop. If you are at the Magic Kingdom, well, you could easily walk to the Contemporary. But if you'd prefer the monorail, then it will be the first stop. I hope I explained this well. Let me know if I you need anymore help!
