Welcome to planDisney, Jenny! I'm so glad to be able to answer your question today.
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party has kicked off for the season, so it's a great time to start to think about what your evening at the party will look like. I'm happy to clarify
Lightning Lane access for you, so let's jump right in!
Special event tickets, like the one you'll be using for Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, are not eligible for Lightning Lane purchases. That means you won't be able to purchase a Lightning Lane Single Pass for
TRON Lightcycle / Run if your only ticket for the day is your party ticket. The Lightning Lane system is tied to regular day tickets, so since the party is a separately ticketed event, it doesn't connect in the same way.
But don't worry, there are still great ways to experience TRON! Since your party ticket lets you enter
Magic Kingdom starting at 4:00 PM, you can actually hop in the standby line for TRON before the park officially closes to day guests at 6:00 PM. After 7:00 PM, when the party officially kicks off, TRON will remain open and will continue to operate with a standby queue throughout the evening. That's great news, because the party often brings shorter waits for attractions compared to a regular park day, so you may even get to ride more than once if you want to!
So the bottom line is: you can't buy a Lightning Lane Single Pass for TRON with just your party ticket, but you'll have plenty of opportunities to ride thanks to the standby option. In my opinion, TRON is best experienced at night, so the party will be a great chance to ride when it's dark out!
I hope this answers your question, Jenny, and please let us know if there's anything else we can do to help you plan your magical vacation.
