Regarding the “Ground Transportation” add-on option going to & from our WDWresort - Port Canaveral: 1.) What is the current cost per person for this add-on? & ALSO: 2.) Is this a “1way fare?” — or is it considered “round trip?” Thanks!

Ahoy there, Chelsea. Thanks for sailing by planDisney again with your questions. We’re happy to help you plan an amazing Disney vacation.

I see that my friend Shannon told you all about ordering a celebration cake for your upcoming cruise! I’m so excited you and your family will be sailing on the Disney Fantasy in a couple of months. The Disney Fantasy holds a special place in my heart as it was the first Disney ship we sailed on when my kids were little…they’re now young adults and we still love that ship dearly!

We enjoy taking ground transportation from a Walt Disney World Resort hotel to Port Canaveral because of the convenience. You can leave your checked luggage in your hotel room, and they will be picked up by Bell Service and magically appear in front of your stateroom by the evening of Embarkation Day! Just be sure to pack a separate carry-on bag with your important documents (including passports), medications, and valuables to take with you.

On our family’s recent sailing with Disney Cruise Line, our ground transportation each way to Port Canaveral was $45 per person, and round-trip (pre- and post-cruise) was $90 per person. Please note that prices are subject to change so I recommend that you contact Disney Cruise Line directly to ensure the most up-to-date prices. You can book your ground transportation on the Disney Cruise Line website, under the “Already Booked” tab, then select the Ground Transportation link. You can also call Disney Cruise Line and a friendly agent will gladly assist you in adding on the ground transportation to your cruise, whether you need it before and/or after the cruise.

I hope this helps as you get ready for your cruise in April, Chelsea. Please don’t hesitate to reach out again if you have more questions!

    Bon voyage,
    Kiki

Meet the Panelist: Kiki, California

Greetings! I have been fascinated by the magic of Disney since I was a little girl; now that I am a mother of two, I love watching my children experience Disney Parks through their own eyes. I am also surrounded by fellow Disney-loving nurse friends whom I enjoy quick adults-only Disneyland Resort escapes or Disney Cruise Line voyages with. Whether you are planning your once-in-a-lifetime family trip or a short adults-only getaway to the Happiest Place on Earth, I am here to help!
