Regarding golf cart rentals at Fort Wilderness Resort. If i wanted to go to MK via marina one day, can i drive it to the marina and leave it there until i come back and have it there waiting for me when i return? Is it secure being left unattended?

    Howdy Michael!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!  I love chatting about Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground!  I am excited to help you with your question!

Be prepared for a root’in toot’in good ole time when you stay at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground!  Renting a Golf Cart is a must-do at this resort!  There is an adventure awaiting you “Just Around the Riverbend” throughout this resort!  We love taking our golf cart to the Settlement area.  You will find a perfect place to park your golf cart near the Settlement Trading Post and then you can board your water taxi for the Magic Kingdom Park.  Make sure to bring your key, and your carriage will await you upon your return!

I highly recommend finding the perfect spot to view the Electrical Water Pageant!  This is a nighttime water parade that I have enjoyed since I was a little girl!  As the parade dances along the water, you can relax in your golf cart and enjoy the show!

Every visit to Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground is not complete without a visit to the Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue!  Get ready for some knee-slapp'in and vittle smack'in good ole time!

If you have a chance to stop and sing-a-long at the Chip ‘n’ Dale’s Campfire Sing-A-Long, then I highly recommend it!  These two nutty chipmunks are always up to something!  After the sing-a-long, it’s time to snuggle up for a movie under the stars.  With the smell of the campfire and s’mores filling the air, this is the perfect ending to any day!

You are going to have so much fun on your upcoming vacation to the Walt Disney World Resort!  Check out the Disney Parks Blogs for all the up-to-date things to see and do in the months to come!  Also, if you have any more questions while you are planning, please come back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!  We love and look forward to helping you with all your vacation questions!  Happy planning, Michael!
