Regarding DVC, I'm worried that if I inquire that I'll be subjected to a high-pressure sales pitch that will take valuable time away from our vacation. Are there any freebies or perks that I'll recieve for making an inquiry while in the parks?

    Hello, Susan!

You pose a really good question regarding taking a tour of a Disney Vacation Club resort while on your Walt Disney World Vacation!

When my family took our tour of Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort and Spa villas, I had the very same concern. However, it was a hot July afternoon, and, to be honest, the kids needed a break. From our personal pick-up in an air-conditioned van (at the park of our choice) until our drop-off (with umbrellas, since it had begun to rain), we were so very pleased with the entire experience. Our sales guide was super-sweet, and asked us about our future travel plans.  She then showed us how we could DVC Membership to not only enable us to accomplish those goals, traveling even more frequently, and for longer lengths of time, than we would otherwise. There was no pressure at all; in fact, we were told to go and enjoy the rest of our vacation, and think about this once we returned home.

In the meantime, our two young children went into a supervised, secured room, filled with toys, coloring books and activities. They really enjoyed the chance to play and relax while Mom and Dad took a look around. After the tour, we enjoyed lemonade and cookies, too, which is a lovely, homey touch to our visit as well. For us, we felt that this experience was worth our time, no matter what our decision would be at the end of the day.

While the details of your experience may be different from ours, I am certain that Cast Members' #1 priority is to make you feel welcome, at home, relaxed and glad you came for a visit. For more information about Disney Vacation Club, call 877-382-7826, or, if you are in a Walt Disney World resort location, stop by the Disney Vacation Club kiosk and ask the Cast Member there more specific questions about tours during your vacation.

I wish you the best of luck in your decision, and a lot of extra Pixie Dust sprinkled on your upcoming visit to Walt Disney World Resort!
