Regarding the construction at HS. Will this add or reduce walk time/boat time to the Boardwalk? Hoping to schedule TaF breakfast and trying to plan our route and account for time. Thank you!

    Hi Emily,

Thanks for visiting Disney Parks Moms Panel.

One of our favorite walkable routes at Walt Disney World is the Epcot Resorts — Hollywood Studios Connector. We tend to like to walk Walt Disney World in general, and the stroll along the waterway path as we head from Disney's Hollywood Studios to Epcot — or vice versa — is a trek we find enjoyable. We made the walk just last month on our last visit. Yes, the current Disney Skyliner construction does alter the path a bit as you exit Disney's Hollywood Studios and walk around the construction walls, so it's a bit less direct of a walking path. That said, I personally don't think it adds a lot of time to the walk — maybe 5-10 minutes if that. Of course, a lot depends on your walking group, but I would think a 30-40 minute casual walk time is more than reasonable.

Emily, here's wishing you a wonderfully delicious Bon Voyage Adventure Breakfast.

    Enjoy your Disney!

Meet the Panelist: Jerry, Pennsylvania

The playful and creative optimism of all things Disney has enthralled me since I was a kid. I loved watching "The Wonderful World of Disney" on Sunday nights, seeing all the live-action and animated classics in theaters, and — of course — visiting "The Most Magical Place on Earth" for the first time 45 years ago. These days, the big kid in me still loves to play Disney. As a long-time Disney destinations vacationer, I'm looking forward to helping you play Disney starting here at planDisney!
