Hi Lori,
Thanks for visiting Disney Parks Moms Panel.
I always say that adding a
Dining Plan option to your Walt Disney World Resort reservation is a convenient and flexible way to enjoy all the fabulous and delicious Walt Disney World food experiences.
For me, the best way to think about the Dining Plan options and what you get is to think in terms of "per night." If you are arriving on the 19th, you will have Dining Plan components to use for the night of the 19th. You may hear terms like "entitlements," or "credits," or "meals." With the
Disney Dining Plan (not the Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan nor the Disney Deluxe Dining Plan), you'll have 1 Quick-Service Meal, 1 Table-Service Meal, and 2 Snacks for the night of the 19th that you can use as soon as you arrive. So if you arrive on the 19th, you can apply your entitlements to your dinner on the night of the 19th as well as any other dining experiences you choose that day. The other important note to keep in mind is that your Dining Plan entitlements are valid until midnight of the day you check-out. This means that while you won't have Dining Plan credits allocated for the night of the 31st because you're not staying that night, you can still dine on the 31st using any remaining available Dining Plan credits.
Lori, I hope this information is helpful to you as you plan your Walt Disney World vacation. If you have additional questions as you plan your Walt Disney World stay, please let us know here at Disney Parks Moms Panel.
Enjoy your Disney!
Jerry
