    Is the refurbishment of the rooms at Port Orleans French Quarter complete

     Welcome to planDisney, Glenn. I'm so happy you stopped by and even happier to hear you're planning a Walt Disney World Resort vacation! It's the very best kind, if you ask me. 

     Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter is just lovely. With cobblestone streets, wrought-iron balconies, gaslit lamps, and the smooth sounds of jazz filling the air, Guests of this unique Disney Resort hotel are transported right to the heart of New Orleans! Guest room renovations began this past Spring and are expected to last through Spring 2025. The refurbishments include new headboards, raised bed frames, a new seating area and dresser, added storage, and extra outlets and USB ports. Themed touches, like artwork inspired by The Princess and the Frog, and plenty of Southern charm are part of the renovations too!

     No visit to Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter is complete without a stop by Scat Cat's Club - Café for freshly-baked, Mickey-shaped, Tiana-approved beignets. They're heavenly, especially with strawberry dipping sauce. Beign-yay!
