When is the 2011 refurbishment list going to be available? And where can I find it on the Disney site? Trip planned for next summer and knowing whats closed and what not it important for selecting best time to come.

Hi, Rachel!  I find the best information on refurbishments to be at www.allears.net.  Click on "search" then search "Rehabs and Closings."    It has a calendar of scheduled rehabs for about a year out.

Here is the thing though:   Refurbishment schedules are always tentative.   Dates can change, projects can change, and as much as anyone plans, you cannot plan ahead for closings due to weather or if a ride has a mechanical problem.

Use the refurbishment schedule as a general guide, but be ready for modifications!    Have fun planning!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is sailing with Disney Cruise Line, running (or cheering!) at runDisney events, taking hula lessons at Aulani, or vacationing at the Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. I am proud to be a part of the planDisney team and cannot wait to share my tips and advice for a magical vacation
