Hiya Brenda!
Thank you so much for sending this
Disneyland Resort planning question to us hEAR at planDisney!
Oh boy! There's nothing I love more than a Disney day with my best pal. I hope that you and your Daisy have already looked and booked a
Disneyland Dining Reservation or two. Don't forget that because your bestie is a member of the coolest club in the Kingdom, her
annual pass can unlock the door to the members-only
Magic Key Terrace in
Disney California Adventure Park!
Brenda, I'm so sorry to share that
Disneyland Resort Theme Park Admission Tickets are non-refundable. The good news is that the value of what you paid for a ticket never expires. You generally have about a yEAR to use a ticket from its original date of purchase, but even if your bonus ticket has expired you can still apply the value of what it cost towards the purchase of a new pass that is at least the same amount or higher. If you want to use this ticket on a future Disney day and the ticket has expired, you'll
call the Disneyland Resort Ticket Helpline at (714) 781-4636 to have a new ticket issued.
Another idea that I have is if your friend is planning on
renewing her Magic Key annual pass and hasn't done so yet, she could buy the ticket from you and apply it towards the balance of her Key. (If her current key isn't set to expire just yet and she's on a monthly payment plan, she might also be able to apply the extra ticket to her current balance.) This should be able to be done over the phone by calling that same helpline, but it might be faster to take care of it at the Ticket Booths in person when you're both playing in the parks.
I'm so sorry that this wasn't necessarily the answer you were sEARching for, Brenda, but I hope I helped to clEAR your question up! Be sure to follow the
official planDisney Panel Instagram account for even more tips and tricks. We even just launched the brand new
planDisney Podcast! And if you have any more
