Daniel from CA Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

How do I get a refund for a ticket that I purchased? No longer able to go.

    Welcome, Young Padawan.

Thank you for trusting in the Force and finding your way to planDisney. The Masters before us have trained us well, and we are more than happy to help answer any questions you may have.

Unfortunately, theme park tickets are nonrefundable. The good thing is, you can hang on to your tickets to use at a later time. After the expiration date, the price paid for a wholly unused ticket can be applied to the purchase of a new ticket. So in a way, you will already have a ticket for when you can visit

If you haven’t already, I recommend scheduling your Theme Park Reservations just in case your plans do change and you can visit. That way all you have to do is get there!

Daniel, I hope this helps answer your question. If you have any other questions, specific to your existing ticket, you can also give the Disneyland Resort a call. A Jedi Master, or Cast Member, there will be more than happy to further assist you.

May the Force be with you!

Meet the Panelist: Shantel, Alabama

Hi ya Pals! I'm Shantel, an Army wife and mom of two. I grew up going to the parks, and now we're sharing that tradition with our kids. When I am not visiting the Walt Disney World Resort, I'm at home researching and planning for our next trip. One of my favorite things to do is search for new snacks to try, especially if they are Mickey shaped. I'm definitely living the dream my heart wished for! I cannot wait to answer your questions and help make your vacation even more magical!
