    Do I get a refund if we have to cancel our trip completely? It’s in 2 weeks

    Hey Howdy Hey Hannah and welcome to planDisney!

    I am so sorry to hear that you will have to cancel your upcoming trip to the Walt Disney World Resort. Let's go over the terms and conditions of vacation packages as well as looking at your options. 

    If you did book a vacation package with Walt Disney World which includes a room at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel and theme park tickets, you may have a few options. If you did need to cancel your vacation, doing so from 2 to 29 days from your date of arrival will come with a current $200 cancelation fee but you will get the rest refunded. Any cancelation made less than 2 days from your date of arrival will forfeit the full amount paid. If you wanted to change the dates of travel, however, this comes with a current $50 processing fee. 

    If you did purchase travel insurance and do need to cancel your vacation, I would also make sure you review that policy as well. Most times, if you do have to cancel for a qualifying reason, they will help you recuperate partially or fully any amount you lost such as with cancelation fees for resorts, flights, etc. 

    Again, I am sorry to hear that you will have to cancel your vacation. I hope you can reschedule your trip or rebook soon, we would love the opportunity for you to be our Guest in the Most Magical Place on Earth soon.
