Good day, Johnathan!
Thank you for dropping by planDisney with your question!
Unfortunately, canceling your
Theme Park Reservation does not trigger a refund. That is because
Theme Park Tickets for the
Disneyland Resort in California are valid for a future visit through the end of their stated expiration date. But, even if you're unable to visit before your tickets expire, there is no need to worry! According to
eTicket Terms & Conditions, unless otherwise stated, the amount paid for any wholly unused, expired Disneyland Resort theme park ticket (with the exception of
Special Event Tickets) may be applied towards the purchase of a new theme park admission ticket at the current price. The new ticket purchase price must be equal to or greater than the amount paid for the original ticket. So, if your tickets expire before your next trip to sunny Southern California, simply head to a Main Entrance ticket booth upon arrival and ask a Cast Member to apply your eligible ticket funds towards a new ticket purchase.
I hope this information is helpful! If you have additional questions, please do not hesitate to send them our way!
