Hi Joshua,
Thanks for visiting planDisney! The Disneyland Hotel is my favorite of the three Disneyland Resort Hotels. Luckily, I’ve been able to stay there several times, so I’m happy to share my experience.
The type of refrigerator in your room depends on which room you're staying in. The
standard rooms and suites in the Fantasy, Adventure, and Frontier Towers all have mini fridges. I’ve been able to fit a good amount in the mini fridge, including a carton of milk and several water bottles.
The Deluxe and Duo Studios at
The Villas at Disneyland Hotel also have mini fridges, and those rooms do include microwaves. The rooms in the Fantasy, Adventure, and Frontier Towers do not have a microwave included. This was a key difference for me because I always like to bring leftovers back when I have dinner at Downtown Disney. It also made breakfast time more cost-efficient since I could pop some waffles in the microwave before heading to the park.
The Villas at the Disneyland Hotel are part of the
Disney Vacation Club. Many of these resort hotels are designed to be a home away from home, so some of the rooms have extra amenities. The 1- and 2-Bedroom Villas, as well as the 3-Bedroom Grand Villa, all have full refrigerators for guests. These rooms are designed for longer stays and also include a stove, oven, kitchen sink, and dining area. This is what makes many Disney Vacation Club Resorts different from standard hotel rooms.
I hope this information is helpful, Joshua! I have lots of other hotel tips, so if you have any other questions or need advice, feel free to reach out. I’d be happy to share more tips to make your visit extra magical.
Have a wonderful trip!
