To refraise a question, do all the rooms at the Coranado have balconies so that when my child is napping my husband and I can talk. Or is any other hotel recommended? Our daughter will be 5 but we like to have our calm time.

Hi, Angeline!   The guest rooms at Coronado Springs, along with all Value and Moderate Resorts open to the outside ("motel style") as opposed to interior hallways of Deluxe Resorts.   Because of this, you will not have a balcony.   You will have 2 chairs in your room that you could set outside your door and prop open the door so you would hear your daughter.   You will be sitting in the walkway of other guests, so be prepared for people to be walking past you.

If you are wanting an actual private balcony, you will want to upgrade to a Deluxe Resort where many of the rooms have private balconies.  (Some rooms will have a sliding door, but no actual balcony to sit on.)  Requests are noted but cannot be guaranteed.)

I hope this information helps!  If there is a specific Deluxe Resort you are interested in, let us know and we can tell you what buildings to request for a balcony.

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is sailing with Disney Cruise Line, running (or cheering!) at runDisney events, taking hula lessons at Aulani, or vacationing at the Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. I am proud to be a part of the planDisney team and cannot wait to share my tips and advice for a magical vacation
