Hello Jaime, and welcome to planDisney! Thank you for reaching out with your question today. I totally understand how important it is for you to ensure your plans for this evening are set, especially since you want to enjoy the frightful delights of tonight’s
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party.
Disney World has just updated its
Weather Update pages, which are the best place to get all your vacation info for the coming days. They are currently keeping a close eye on Hurricane Milton, but the good news is that there are no changes to the operation of theme parks and special events tonight. All operational adjustments for safety will begin tomorrow, Wednesday, October 9.
As for the operational updates, Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Disney’s Animal Kingdom theme park will be closing at 1:00 PM, while Magic Kingdom park, EPCOT, and Disney Springs will close at 2:00 PM. It's likely the theme parks may remain closed on Thursday, October 10, which unfortunately means Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party at Magic Kingdom park will be canceled on that day. But don’t worry, event tickets will be automatically refunded.
If it does turn out that Disney World cancels tonight’s Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, they’ll provide you with clear instructions on the next steps at the location. And, of course, you can always stop by a
Guest Relations location at the park entrance if you have any questions.
I hope you have a fantastic evening filled with lots of chocolate and fun! And please have plans in place to stay safe over the next few days while in Florida, Jaime. Please feel free to
reach out anytime with more questions. It’s always a pleasure to help out our wonderful friends like you!
Cheers,
Nilson
