Hi there, Leah!
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I am so excited to hEAR you have another Disney Cruise Line vacation booked – and it appEARs that you will be headed to
Alaska next summer! My family just returned from our own Alaskan adventure earlier this month and it was absolutely
WONDERful! I know now why Guests continue to return year after year to Alaska – there is just so much to do and you can always find something new and exciting to experience!
Like you, my family loves loves loves the refillable popcorn buckets they have onboard the Disney Cruise Line ships (and at the theme parks)! It’s the perfect after dinner (or before dinner if you have second seating) snack while enjoying the incredible nightly entertainment! And if you are catching a
first-run movie while onboard…well, popcorn is a must! Unfortunately, those refillable buckets do change from time to time (without notice) and you cannot use previously purchased ones to get the discounted refills. So, save the space in your luggage by leaving those at home and pick up a new one that first night onboard and refill, refill, refill!
With so many things to do in Alaska, I can highly recommend making your way to the Mendenhall Glacier when in
Juneau! There are a number of different ways you can see it – some more adventurous than others – but it’s a sight worth seeing!
Please come back with any other questions you have as you continue planning for your next adventure with Captain Mickey!
Happy Sailing!
Stephanie
