Hey there, Richard!
Thank you for your question and coming to planDisney to get your answer! Your
Walt Disney World vacation is just around the corner, and I know you must be getting antsy. By the time you arrive,
Tiana’s Bayou Adventure in the Magic Kingdom will have recently opened to Guests, so you will be one of the first to drop in and celebrate the Mardi Gras season with Louis and his critter musician friends!
You will be happy to know that the 16 oz. Resort Refillable Mugs are available to any Guest visiting The Most Magical Place On Earth, not just Guests of a
Disney Resort Collection hotel. So, whether you are trying to save money on unlimited refills of soda, tea, and coffee throughout your stay (up to 14 days) or you are scoping out the various resorts so you can plan your next visit, or you want a cool souvenir, the cost stays the same. Currently, the mugs are $21.99 plus tax, but this is subject to change. It is important to note that while these mugs can be brought to the Theme Parks, they cannot be refilled there. I like to grab a morning coffee in my mug for our stroll from
Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa to the
Magic Kingdom, and by the time I am at the front gate, I am ready to use my mug as a water bottle throughout the day.
While you’re enjoying your visit and your new mug, Richard, take advantage of the complimentary transportation to hop from one resort to another. Say you have booked a Character Breakfast at
Disney’s Riviera Resort’s
Topolino’s Terrace; you could purchase and fill up your mug there, hop on the
Disney Skyliner to
Disney’s Caribbean Resort, and then continue to
Disney’s Art of Animation or
Disney’s Pop Century Resort.
If you have any additional questions about your upcoming stay,
drop me a line!
See you real soon!
