With the Refillable mug that comes with the dining plan, is their a fee for refills? Does it count as your drink with Quick-Service or Table service meals? If you refill outside of meal time does it count as a snack credit? Thank you!

    Hi Erica,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and thank you for asking about one of my favorite Walt Disney World Resort extras! I was SO excited last week to pick up the latest Resort Refillable Mug design; this one has a Mickey Mouse Club vibe and features Mickey and Minnie in their various "looks" through the years. I love it!

The Resort Refillable Mug, which is included as part of the Disney Dining Plans and can also be purchased separately, provides unlimited refills of soda, coffee, tea, and cocoa through the length of your stay. Once you have the mug, those refills are free of charge – just set your mug down on the soda dispenser and you'll hear a chime letting you know the soda is about to auto-magically fill your cup. (You'll find the hot beverages close by the soda dispensers in your resort's Quick-Service locations.) No matter the time of day, you don't need to use a snack entitlement to refill the mug – save those for Dole Whips, Mickey Premium Ice Cream Bars, and all the other delicious snacks around the theme parks and resorts!

On the Disney Dining Plan, you will also have an included beverage with your Table-Service and/or your Quick-Service meals. This is great, for example, when you're eating a meal in the theme parks and aren't able to use the mug for a soda. The included beverages include specialty drinks like milkshakes and smoothies, and, for Guests over 21, select alcoholic beverages. Back at the resort, my husband will sometimes get a beer with his meal and fill up his mug with soda as we leave to enjoy in our room or at the pool.

Erica, with the Disney Dining Plan, you'll be able to enjoy so many delicious meals, drinks, and treats! As you plan and dream, be sure to read the Disney Parks Blog, as they share lots of delicious news about the newest and yummiest eats – I actually keep a list on my phone, organized by location. Drink up, me hearty, and enjoy every bite, too!

    Wishing you a magical vacation,
    Robyn
