    Hi Moms, Refill mug question. Staying for 14 nights on the dining plan (15 days) are or mugs good for the entire stay. If we fill on or first day does this mean on the day of our departure they will have expired? Regards

         Over the summer of 2013 Disney instituted a new refillable mug system in all the Walt Disney World Resorts, called Disney Rapid Fill. The plastic refillable mugs for this new Rapid Fill system have an RFID chip in the bottom of them. Guests can purchase 1 day, 2 days, 3 days, or length of stay packages for their Rapid Fill refillable mug. Also new with this Rapid Fill system is that you can refill them at any Walt Disney World Resort not just only at the Walt Disney World Resort that you are currently staying at! The current Rapid FIll Mug prices which includes the purchase of a new Rapid Fill Mug as I am answering your question are: 1 day-$8.99, 2 days-$11.99, 3 days-$14.99, or length of stay-$17.99. Some Disney Dining Plans come with a free Disney Rapid Fill Mug as well. Since you are staying 15 days, then your Rapid Fill Mug will be good for length of your stay.  If you have any issues filling your Rapid Fill Mugs on the 15th day, then see a Cast Member at the place you are trying to fill your mug and explain that your length of stay is 15 days.  They should be able to extend the expiration date of the Rapid Fill Mug for you.
