Hi, I have a reference from my travel agent for our Disney holiday in Oct 2021, I would like to start planning and organising our trip and book parks etc, how do I do this? I was told I can link the account to my reference no...

    Welcome to planDisney, Ruth!

It is a pleasure to answer your first question and hear that you have plans for a Walt Disney World Resort holiday in 2021. As a fellow international Guest, I simply cannot wait to make new memories at The Most Magical Place on Earth!

I love planning every single detail of my visits well in advance with help from My Disney Experience. The featured online and mobile tools make it easy to manage and share your plans anytime, anywhere! The first thing you need to do is completing your profile on your Disney account. After providing a few details, you will be ready to move to the next step: creating your Family & Friends List. By adding the Guests in your travel group, you will be able to make and share plans together. I recommend that all adult Guests in your party also create their own Disney account. It is then finally time to link your reservations and tickets to your account using the confirmation number provided by your travel agent. After signing in to your Disney account, scroll down to Plans and Tickets, move the mouse pointer over Resort Hotel and select Link a Reservation. You will have to inform the confirmation number for your Disney Resort hotel reservation or vacation package, as well as the last name on the reservation.

If you cannot retrieve your reservation, I recommend contacting your travel professional to confirm the reservation number and the last name used for booking. Ask for the Walt Disney World Resort confirmation number needed to link your package information to your Disney account, as sometimes travel professionals may at first supply a different booking number that is actually used for their own reference - this has happened to me before. Once your vacation package is successfully linked, you will be able to start planning the details of your Disney holiday including dining and theme park reservations. To view your plans, visit the My Plans page on My Disney Experience, and easily update and add reservations or schedule personal reminders.

planDisney tip: do not forget to download the My Disney Experience app to your mobile device to have all details of your visit at your fingertips. The app also lets you view and update plans, make dining reservations, check interactive maps for all four theme parks and more! This is going to be a very important tool during your visit, especially since you are staying at a Disney Resort hotel. One of my favorite features as a Guest is being able to use Online Check-In prior to my arrival.

Thank you for sending your question our way, Ruth! I hope this helps you while planning a magical Walt Disney World Resort holiday. If you have additional questions, do not hesitate to visit us once again, contact your travel professional, or call 0800 16 90 749.

    Best Disney wishes,
