What is the reentry policy for the Magic Kingdom with a one day pass.

Hi Lori! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

Your day at Magic Kingdom Park is rapidly approaching! If you can only spend one day at the Walt Disney World Resort, Magic Kingdom Park is definitely the theme park I would recommend. There are so many attractions, shows and characters that are perfect for all ages, as well as the Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade and Happily Ever After fireworks show. You truly get a taste of everything!

With a Walt Disney World base ticket, you can leave and re-enter the same theme park on the same day. If you wanted to get to Magic Kingdom Park early, leave for lunch, and head back to the theme park that evening, you could do that! The only time you wouldn't be allowed back in during normal operating hours is if the theme park reached maximum capacity. Fortunately, that rarely happens and is usually on holidays around Christmas and New Year's Eve/Day. Before you exit the theme park, make sure to check the park hours for that day. With events like Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party taking place, there are some evenings that the theme park closes early and I would hate for you to try to come back and it be closed!

Enjoy your magical visit, Lori! Please let us know if you have any other questions!
