Hello and welcome to planDisney, Jeffrey! I'm so glad you've stopped by to chat about your question.
With the reopening of Walt Disney World last summer, we did see some procedures put in place when visiting the Walt Disney World Theme Parks. Now, to visit, you need valid theme park admission and
park pass reservations. Park pass reservations are basically like a "virtual placeholder" in line at the theme park you'd like to visit each day. This is a way of controlling the crowds at each park since the theme parks are still operating at a limited capacity. With your standard theme park admission and a park pass reservation, you are guaranteed in and out privileges at that particular theme park all day long.
I love to visit the
Walt Disney World Theme Parks early in the morning to get in most of my must-do's with little to no wait. Then, around lunchtime, when the parks tend to fill up I like to head back to the hotel that I am staying at for an afternoon swim. After some fun in the Florida sun, I'll get cleaned up and head back to the Walt Disney World Theme Parks for the evening hours. I'm not a huge fan of waiting in long lines for attractions and I find by setting up my itinerary like this, I can bypass a lot of the crowds.
If you have a standard theme park ticket that allows you to visit one park per day, you are able to come and go from that same park with your park pass reservation all day. If you have a
park hopper pass where you are able to visit multiple Walt Disney World Theme Parks in one day after you've visited the theme park with your park pass reservation and it's after 2:00 p.m. you are able to visit any of the other Walt Disney World Theme Parks the rest of the day as well.
I hope this helps, Jeffrey. If you have any other questions, I'd love for you to stop back by and
ask me. I'm here to help! Have fun and happy planning!
