Hello Valarie,
Thanks for stopping by
planDisney with your question. You're going to Walt Disney World!
Base tickets that give you entry to one park per day can be absolutely perfect for many families. I know when we have 4 days to spend in the parks, we like dedicating one day to play in each park.
Not only can you leave and re-enter the park, I recommend it. While some people can happily be the first to enter a park and the last to leave at night, I can't do it. More specifically, my family can't do it. We start to get hungry, tired, hot, cranky -- in short, we lose the magic if we try to go, go, go all day long. It really helps us to return to our resort midday to have lunch and lie down or hang out by the pool. Then we're ready to head back and close the park down.
Another option is to just leave and head to a nice meal at a resort or at
Disney Springs. We like to make a reservation to
Grand Floridian Cafe and take a ride on the monorail. It's amazing how rejuvenated you'll feel after sitting for awhile in a relaxed setting.
Hope this helps. Have a magical vacation!
Diane
