Can we re-enter the park with multiday ticket option? We are traveling with small kids and may prefer to come back to hotel for nap time. Or do we need to get park hopper only?

Hi Deepshri! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

The countdown to your Walt Disney World Resort vacation is nearing the end! In no time at all, you will be on your way to this magical destination.

One of my absolute favorite tips for families that have little ones with them is to take a break and rest in the middle of the day. With two young kiddos of my own, we like to start our days early (well, the kids like to get us up early!) and enjoy the theme parks when they are less crowded. Then, we head back to our Disney Resort hotel, rest for a couple of hours and return to the theme parks re-energized and happy!

With a Walt Disney World base ticket (one park per day), you can exit and re-enter the same theme park on the same day. With a Walt Disney World Park Hopper ticket, you can exit and enter any of the four theme parks on the same day. If you would like to switch to a different theme park in the afternoon, you will need the Park Hopper ticket, but if you are returning to the same theme park you entered earlier that day, a multi-day (or even single day) base ticket is just fine!

Enjoy your upcoming trip! Please visit us again with any other questions you may have!
