Can I reenter a park if I only having a Disneyland ticket and not a park reservation?

    Hi Ken,

Wow, you are heading to the Disneyland Resort tomorrow! You are in for an unforgettable day! I'd be happy to help you with your question, and since time is of the essence, let's jump right into it!

All Guests are required to have both a theme park ticket and a theme park reservation to enter Disneyland Park or California Adventure Park. If you purchased your ticket on the Disneyland website, you likely already have made a theme park reservation. I know sometimes it can sound like you need to take an extra step, but as part of the ticket purchase process, you are asked to choose a date to visit and a park. Once that purchase is complete, you should have a theme park reservation aligned with what you requested. If you are purchasing a Park Hopper, you will choose the park where you will start your day and have the ability to hop between the two after 11:00 AM as much as you'd like. You would not need a reservation for both parks in this case, just the one where you will scan in before 11:00 AM. We can easily check in the Disneyland app to see if you have a reservation by heading to the three-line icon in the bottom right-hand corner and scrolling down to "Future Plans". Here, you will see any upcoming theme park reservations for tickets held in your account. Do you see one for tomorrow? I hope so!

If not, as long as your ticket for tomorrow is linked to your account, you can make one with just a few taps. I took a peek at the theme park reservation availability, and both Disneyland and California Adventure currently have them open for tomorrow. In the app, tap the "+" along the bottom navigation bar and select "Make a Park Reservation", followed by "Make or Modify Park Reservations" and "Book Theme Park Reservation". You will choose the ticket you are using for your park day tomorrow on the next screen and then tap "Next". A calendar will pop up with reservation availability depending on your ticket type. If tomorrow is available for you, tap the date and follow the rest of the instructions. Hopefully, we've successfully set you up with a theme park reservation for tomorrow! If you have any questions about your specific ticket, I'd recommend calling Guest Services, as they can see farther into your account than we can here at planDisney.

While we are exploring the app, I always like to point out where you can find information to help make your park day run smoothly. If you tap the pinpoint icon in the bottom navigation bar, this will pull up the park map. Along the top, you can filter the findings to show current wait times, character meet and greets, Disney PhotoPass locations, and more. You can even find the nearest bottle refilling station! You truly have so much information available to you right in your pocket! Once you've chosen a filter, I like to tap "show list" for an easy view of the findings, especially if I'm in search of a specific character or two!

Ken, I truly hope we've paved a path to the magic for you. If you have any other questions, we are always here for you at planDisney!

    See ya...tomorrow!
