Will it be redundant for us to dine at Akershus royal banquet hall one night and then 1900 Park Fare the next night? We've dined at 1900 Park Fare before and loved the experience but have never dined at Akershus. My other choice is to dine at CRT only. Tks

    Hi, Mia!

We dined at both 1900 Park Fare and Akershus Royal Banquet Hall during one recent trip, and we didn't feel that it was redundant at all. You'll be just fine!

First of all, it's so convenient to see the Princesses at Akershus while touring Epcot. The food is delicious, the photo opportunity with Belle is spectacular and the atmosphere of the whole evening will be grand. On your next night, 1900 Park Fare, the menu will be very different than what you enjoyed the night before, so your tastebuds and tummies will not feel as if the meal is repetitive. Character-wise, you'll most likely meet Cinderella and Prince Charming, as well as Lady Tremaine, Anastasia and Drizella. This experience is entirely different, as you can imagine, because the character interaction is not at all what you'll experience with all Princesses at Akershus!

I am definitely frugal, so if I need to squeeze two meals out of a Dining Plan, instead of just one (either Signature or Cinderella's Royal Table), I'll almost always opt for the two meals. It's just a great value for my family's dining dollars.

We really do love dining at Akershus Royal Banquet Hall, so I suggest that you give it a try; you'll be well-fed, well-entertained and will even exit your dinner feeling an extra dose of Walt Disney World magic.

    Enjoy!
