When booking a vacation package (
theme park tickets and a
Disney Resorts Collection Hotel room reservation booked together), the minimum number of days on your tickets is currently 2 days. If you'd like tickets for one day, you'll need to book your hotel room and tickets separately.
When booking these items separately, there are some different terms and conditions that you'll want to know about. When booking a hotel room-only reservation, you would currently pay a deposit (typically equal to one night's stay), and the rest would be charged when you check in. Currently, the cancellation policy for these types of reservations is a full refund if you cancel at least 8 days before check-in. As for theme park ticket-only purchases, they are
non-transferable and non-refundable.
While I'm a big believer that the more time you spend in the parks, the better, I understand that not everyone has the time to do that. Plus, the Disney hotels are experiences in and of themselves, and sometimes you just want to spend time there. After all, some of my favorite
restaurants and
lounges are in the Disney hotels, along with the amazing pools and other recreational activities. You can definitely fill a resort day with a lot of fun.
