are redemption cards redeemable dollar for dollar at disney world

    Welcome to planDisney, Jeffrey!

You've asked a great question about Redeeming Disney Visa's Reward Dollars. The short answer is: YES!

When we visit Walt Disney World, I have a very specific checklist of things to do and what to bring. At the top of my list? Making sure I get all of those available Disney Visa Reward Dollars transferred over to my Redemption Card, then making sure that Redemption Card and that Disney Visa are in my wallet. As stated on the Disney Rewards website, "One Disney Rewards Dollar is equal to a $1 value when redeeming toward Disney products and experiences at most Disney locations in the U.S. and online." That's a whole lot of magic--and it's all prepaid!

Craving a Dole Whip at Magic Kingdom's Aloha Isle? Pay for it with Rewards Dollars. Spot a must-have shirt at Disney Springs' Trend-D? Ditto. Planning a once-in-a-lifetime sunset dinner at California Grill? The answer's the very same.

Another perk? Disney Visa Rewards Dollars never expire. Because of that, sometimes we've let our Rewards Dollars add up so that we can use them for a larger purchase such as Theme Park Tickets or even use them towards an Annual Pass. Knowing we have these Rewards Dollars really eases our minds, allowing us to enjoy a splurge here and there without it costing anything extra.

Jeffrey, if you head to DisneyRewards.com, you'll find a list of locations where you can redeem your Disney Rewards Dollars--including throughout Walt Disney World. While there, don't forget to check on Walt Disney Resort Cardmember perks such as discounts on dining, merchandise, and even some oh-so-special meet-and-greets such as the one at Celebrity Spotlight at Disney's Hollywood Studios or the Disney Visa Cardmember Photo Opportunity at EPCOT. Just show your Disney Visa and you'll feel like a VIP throughout your stay.

As you plan your upcoming visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth, Jeffrey, be sure to send additional questions our way. We love to help!
