Hi Kayla, welcome to planDisney!
You and me, we're in a club now - a
Disney Visa cardholder club. Much like Carl and Ellie from
Up, our imagination and sense of adventure lead us to magical destinations like Walt Disney World Resort. We might not have a bunch of balloons to assist with our journey, but we do have Disney Reward Dollars!
I've used Disney Reward Dollars to play for souvenirs, dining experiences, and guided tours like
Disney's Keys to the Kingdom Tour. You can also use Disney Reward Dollars to pay for room charges at a
Disney Resorts Collection hotel and theme park tickets. A Disney Redemption Card is required to redeem your Disney Reward Dollars for all purchases, including theme park tickets.
Once you've earned at least 20 reward dollars, Kayla, you can request a Disney Redemption Card online, by phone, or even at a Disney theme park. With standard shipping, the current wording online says you can expect a new Disney Redemption Card to arrive in "8+ business days." When purchasing a Walt Disney World theme park ticket
online, "Use a Disney Redemption Card" appears as a payment option. When using a Disney Redemption Card in the theme parks, I recommend saving the card number as a note in your phone so you can easily copy and paste it when making a purchase in the
My Disney Experience mobile app.
Once your Walt Disney World Resort theme park ticket is linked to your
My Disney Experience account, be sure to make
theme park reservations and plan for your
method of entry. As your journey continues, planDisney is here to answer all of your vacation-planning questions.
Adventure is out there,
Jennifer
