Hello, and welcome to
planDisney Elisa.
Thank you for stopping by planDisney with your excellent question, this must mean that you’re planning on visiting
Walt Disney World Resort soon! As a fellow Canadian Disney fan, I couldn’t wait to return to
The Most Magical Place on Earth, especially during the 50th Anniversary Celebration.
Elisa, your ticket terms and conditions should be outlined in the fine print on your purchase confirmation, or on the back of the theme park ticket cards. As well, please refer to the general and current
Walt Disney World Resort theme park ticket usage information which ‘may’ apply to your existing tickets (subject to change).
I would like you to try to
link the tickets to your Disney account online by accessing
My Plans – Dining, Resort Hotel and Tickets to enter each ticket ID number. If using the
My Disney Experience App, please tap on the
Feature Menu on the bottom right of the main page and on your
Welcome Elisa page, select the
Tickets and Passes tile to arrive on the
Link Tickets page where you will have the choice of scanning the barcode of each ticket ID, or entering the ticket ID manually. If this works, the tickets will appear, along with their barcodes, theme park admission days, and date of validity.
If linking your existing theme park tickets
does not work, then my best advice would be to contact
Walt Disney World Resort – Existing Tickets for direct support and resolution. My past experience with a similar matter was that I was able to use the value of my existing tickets towards the purchase of new tickets – I had to pay a little more because of the new cost of tickets and the date of my intended visit. I don’t know if this will be your resolution, but it’s worth a try.
Once your theme park ticket matter is resolved, Elisa, please link your tickets to your Disney account online, or your
My Disney Experience App because if you have a set date in mind, then you will need to make a
Disney Park Pass – Theme Park Reservation for each day of valid admission. This is the method of visiting the Walt Disney World Resort theme parks currently.
Tips:On your Disney account, update your profile and opt-in to receive emails for special offers and all Disney-related news. While in your Disney account online, refer to the
Places to Stay tab to see periodic
Walt Disney World Resort – Special Offers, Deals & Discounts.
There’s a new theme park ticket option at Walt Disney World Resort called the
Disney Genie+ Service which will save you time waiting in lines and can be purchased via the My Disney Experience App during your visit.
It was my pleasure offering my advice today, Elisa, I look forward to helping you again soon, please feel free to stop by planDisney we are here for you.
Best Disney Wishes!
Jacqueline
