Welcome to planDisney, Deanna!
That's such a great question, and I'm so glad you asked it (believe it or not, you're serving other Guests who are wondering the same thing).
Disney Gift Cards are a brilliant way to pay for things on your trip. Whether you received one as a gift or purchased it yourself, they're very handy for covering snacks, souvenirs, meals,
Lightning Lane Passes, and more. But "let's get down to business" and make sure you can actually use it!
The version shown on
DisneyGiftCard.com masks some of the digits for security, so you won't be able to copy the full number from there. Instead, search your inbox for the original Disney Gift Card email. That message will include the full 16-digit card number and Extended Account Number (EAN) you'll need to redeem it. Once you have that information, you can manually enter it at checkout on the
My Disney Experience app (for
Mobile Food & Beverage Orders or
Merchandise Mobile Checkout) or show it in person when paying at a register.
Here's a helpful tip: take a quick screenshot or save the full card info in your phone's notes app before you head into the parks. That way, you'll have it handy even if cell service gets spotty. And if you're managing multiple gift cards, you can combine them (up to $1,000 per card) at DisneyGiftCard.com. I was just combining some cards myself the other day. It's a great way to keep your spending organized whilst you're enjoying Walt Disney World for all its worth.
Thanks for choosing to be our Guest, Deanna.
