What does a red light mean on the magic band?

    Howdy, William!

I love my MagicBand+ and all of the features it offers! Here’s a quick reference to what the lights mean on your MagicBand+.

-Flashing Green indicates Full Battery. Your MagicBand+ is ready to go!

-Flashing Yellow indicates Low Battery. Charge your band until it is green for the most optimal function.

-Flashing Red indicates No Battery. You should charge your band as soon as you can.

While your MagicBand+ will still allow you access to the parks, pay at restaurants and gift shops, and gain entry to your Disney Hotel room at the touch points with no battery life, the magical haptics will not engage until you have recharged your band. If you’ve lost the charger for your MagicBand+, you should be able to find one on shopDisney, at many Disney gift shops, or from other online retailers.

Happy trails, William! We hope to hear from you at planDisney again soon!

Meet the Panelist: Allyn, Florida

Hello! I am Allyn, your personal planDisney companion! I’ve enjoyed most of my life in the heart of Wyoming but am currently living my fairy tale as a wife, mom, yoga instructor, and fine jewelry designer in central Florida! When I’m not galavanting around the Disney theme parks, you’ll probably find me reading a good book, outside playing with my family, or learning to do something new. I truly believe that dreams come true, and I look forward to sharing that magic with you!
