If we take a red eye flight from Hawaii to CA, are we able to request an earlier checking time to our Pixar Pier Hotel room (e.i. 7:00am check in time instead of 4:00pm)? If not, can we bring our bags there to be stored until checkin time (4pm)?

Aloha, Carly, and mahalo for bringing your question to planDisney!

I can’t wait for you to be enjoying the Happiest Place on Earth in just one short month! I completely understand this situation, as I've had this same issue when taking a late-night flight as well.

You are more than welcome to request an earlier check-in time to your room at Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel, though your request can’t be guaranteed. You can include the request when booking your hotel reservation online, or you can call (714) 956-6425 to make sure this request is added to your booking. You can check in to the Paradise Pier Hotel anytime, but typically, rooms are available after 3:00 PM. If your room isn’t ready when you check in, you can store your luggage at the Bell Desk and enjoy breakfast at another hotel or at a restaurant in Downtown Disney District or inside the theme parks. Then, you’ll receive a text message when your room is ready.

You can do the same thing on the day you check out, too. Check-out time is usually at 11:00 AM, but you're still able to use your room key to enjoy the awesome pools at the hotel, which are scheduled to reopen on May 7, 2022. I just love the fun, beachy vibes of this cool seaside-themed hotel. Plus, you can’t beat the amazing views of Disney California Adventure Park at night!

Best wishes for a magical, memorable visit to the Disneyland Resort, Carly!

    Safe travels,
    Kristin

Meet the Panelist: Kristin, California

Greetings from sunny California! I live less than an hour from the Disneyland Resort, and have been an Annual Passholder (and now a Magic Key Passholder) for more than 20 years! As a mom of three kids ages 5-10, I consider myself an expert at navigating the Disneyland Resort with little ones. My family of five can’t get enough of the magic and happiness we encounter every time we step foot on Main Street, U.S.A. I look forward to sprinkling pixie dust on your next visit to the Happiest Place on Earth! Learn More About Kristin
