I have a red eye flight to the east coast. Is there a place I can take a shower before heading to the airport at the Disneyland Hotel?

    Greetings Joel!

Thanks for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I'm so excited you will be making the journey out west to where it all began at the Happiest Place on Earth. I love having a late flight on my checkout day so I can squeeze even more magic into my vacation. I also definitely understand your concerns with wanting to freshen up after spending a day in the parks and heading straight to the airport. I'd love to give you a couple of my personal suggestions that have worked for me in similar situations.

One of the great benefits of staying at a Disneyland Resort Hotel, or in your case the Disneyland Hotel specifically, is being able to use hotel amenities the entire day even after you check out. This means you can still relax and enjoy an afternoon at the pool while rinsing off at one of the outdoor showers located there. You can always bring your own soap to these outdoor showers if you would like as well.

My other suggestion is slightly more luxurious, but one I really love when it comes to winding down after a vacation. Over at Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa you can get a wonderful and relaxing massage or spa service at the Mandara Spa. With these spa services comes the benefit of using their amenities like showers, steam rooms, saunas, and having refreshing teas. This spa is also open until later in the evening making it a delightful way to cap off your magical vacation while also feeling fresh and limber!

I hope this works out for you, and I wish you safe travels!
