Hi Christina,
Pool hopping is a great perk for Disney Vacation Club members. It is so much fun to be able to go around Walt Disney World and check out the different resort pools. Like you, my family very much enjoys the recreational offerings poolside at the Walt Disney World resorts. From pool parties to Disney-themed bingo, it seems like there is almost always something fun going on!
The recreation schedules at the Walt Disney World resorts may change often and are therefore not available online. I would suggest that if you know which resorts you would like to pool hop to, call the resorts directly about a week or two before your visit. If you ask, the cast members there may be able to fax you a copy of the current recreation schedule for their resort.
As I am sure you are aware, there are restrictions on pool hopping. These include blackout dates, as well as certain pools to which you may not pool hop, including Bay Cove Pool at Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort, Uzima Pool and Samawati Springs Pool at the Villas at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge, Stormalong Bay at Disney's Yacht and Beach Club Resorts, the leisure pool at Disney's Beach Club Villas, and the pools at Disney's Art of Animation Resort. Consult your Portable Perks, available for download at the
Disney Vacation Club member website, for complete details on pool hopping.
I hope that this information is helpful for you, Christina! Please do not hesitate to ask if you have any further questions.
