Hi, which is the most recommended water park for a 3 year-old boy? Thanks. Maria.

Hi Maria!  Recently I took my three year old grandson to a water park and we chose Blizzard Beach.  This is a great place for a day of fun in the sun for this age.

Tikes Peak is the area where you will want to stay centered around.  This is geared for the younger set and it has a slide with floored inner tubes, a small slide where the parents watch them and a slide that is for children 48" and under. This is great as they strictly adhere to this which keeps out larger children that might be more rough allowing the younger ones a safe and fun atmosphere.  There is also a large fountain area that squirts now and then from large animals and a play yard full of tunnels and small slides.  There are about six covered areas for chairs and tables so you want to get there early enough to snag a good spot for the day.

The next area is called the Ski patrol Training Camp and this is when the kids are more comfortable with their swimming skills.  There they have balance balls, rope crossings, zip lines, and longer and more steep slides.

Definitely take time out and enjoy the Cross Country Creek which is a long lazy river type ride.  It takes about 20-25 minutes to do the complete circle making it a very relaxing trip.  There are bottom tubes for the little ones so you can all hold on together along the way.

Have a great day at the water park!
