You recommended Coronado Springs & stayed in Casitas Bldg-1. We need adjoining rooms & want something updated would this be the bldg to ask for or what other area you suggest? We are coming 6/19/09-6/25/09 with 3 adults & 2 ch.

Hi, Rosemarie,    The last time I stayed at Coronado Springs, they were in the process of updating all the guest rooms.   I do not know if the renovation is complete on the entire resort, but you can certainly request to have a newly renovated room, though requests cannot be guaranteed.

The room I was in had 2 queen beds and was connecting to another room with 2 queen beds.   This was a great location, so I do recommend Casitas Building 1.     Make sure you request "connecting" and not "adjoining" rooms.   Connecting rooms have the door between the 2 rooms, and adjoining simply means next to each other.

To add a room request to your reservation, call (407)W-DISNEY and have your confirmation number handy.   List your room requests in order of preference.   For more tips on getting your desired room, read this helpful information HERE from Disney Dad Bret.

Thanks for your question and have a magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
