What is your recommended choice between a half day at AK or a half day at DHS? Taking the auto-train, so I figure a 1130 or so arrival. Will spend 2 full days at MK and 1 full day at Epcot before we have to leave. Traveling with 6 and 3 year old boys.

    Hello Henry,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!  You ask a very tough question, as my kids love both of those parks.  If I had to choose, I would pick Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park. Our whole family loves the Kilimanjaro Safaris and viewing all of the exotic animals located throughout the park. My boys also really like to visit the Affection Section petting-zoo and they always seem to burn off some extra energy at The Boneyard play area.  If your 3-year-old meets the height requirement of 38 inches (95cm), your family will really enjoy cooling down with a soaking from Kali River Rapids.  Another must-do for our family is watching the incredible Finding Nemo - The Musical.  You can't help but dance along to the music!  There are so many more incredible attractions which you can read about on Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park website page.  Like all of the Disney Parks, the Animal Kingdom truly has magical experiences everyone in your family will enjoy.

I hope this helps in your vacation planning. Have a wonderful trip!

    Magical Wishes,

    Lauren

Hi-ya, Pals! I'm a wife and mother of three who's enjoyed many special occasions at Walt Disney World Resort with my family: graduations, pregnancies, birthdays, anniversaries, holidays, reunions, and even our Fairy Tale Honeymoon. I look for any excuse to return "home" often and would love to help add a little extra Pixie Dust to your next magical adventure. Learn More About Lauren
