Hi, Pamela! Your 8 year old son sounds like my 6 year old son . . . anything "girly" pushes my little guy right over the edge. That said, I think he is the bigger Disney World fan compared to my 9 year old princess!
My son's favorite two parks are Hollywood Studios and Magic Kingdom. At Hollywood Studios, he has so many "must do"
attractions including Toy Story Mania,
Lights Motor Action Extreme Stunt Show, Star Tours, and the Jedi Training Academy. He will tear himself away from the fun to grab a bite to eat at Pizza Planet! He also likes to meet the Power Rangers and get a picture with them.
In the
Magic Kingdom, we head straight for Tomorrowland where we can battle with Zurg on Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin, launch into space in the Astro Orbiters, and drive like crazy on the Tomorrowland Speedway. Then its off to Haunted Mansion and Splash Mountain.
The fun never ends for my fearless little pirate (and he never has to encounter any icky princesses unless his big sister talks him into it!) I think you will find quite a bit of adventure for your son throughout Walt Disney World. Have fun!
