Do you have any recommendations for transportation from Disney Springs to the Disney Cruise terminal? I'm wondering if it will be easier (and cheaper) to go back to MCO to take Disney's Magical Express.

    Ahoy Jeri!

Thank you for cruising by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your great question!  Before you know it, your summer vacation will be here and you'll be sailing away with Captain Mickey.  I am so excited for you!

Spending time at Disney Springs is a great way to warm up for your high seas adventure.  Don't miss my favorite new attraction here, NBA Experience.  As a basketball mom, I love spending time with my basketball-loving family here but it is also great fun for casual fans!

When it is time to head to port and trade your sneakers for sandals, there are a few options for you to travel to the coast.  I would recommend contacting Disney Cruise Line for information about using Disney's Minnie Van service so you can travel right from Disney Springs to Port Canaveral.  You could also use a local car service for transportation as well.  A quick internet search for transportation in Orlando will give you several options.

Disney Cruise Line does offer ground transportation to Port Canaveral from the Orlando International Airport for an additional fee.  This is an option for you, but between the time and cost for this transfer plus transportation from Disney Springs back to the airport, there may be better options for you.  If you do not want to arrange private transportation or use Disney's Minnie Van service, you could take Disney's complimentary bus transportation from Disney Springs to a Walt Disney World Resort hotel and then arrange for Disney Cruise Line ground transportation from that hotel.  Just be sure to make any ground transportation arrangements with Disney Cruise Line at least 48 hours before you set sail.

I hope I have steered you in the right direction, Jeri!  Cruise back to us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel if you have any additional questions before you set sail!

    "Sea" ya real soon!  Angie
