Ahoy, Cheuk! Welcome to planDisney and thanks for sailing over with your question about your upcoming adventure where magic meets the sea.
One of my favorite things about sailing with Disney Cruise Line is the opportunity to combine the Disney magic that I know and love with visits to brand new ports of call around the world. Although I have not personally visited Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, I have visited several other Mexican ports and can help guide you to the perfect
Port Adventures for your sailing party.
Personally, I love checking out some of the cultural options to learn more about the local area, so I would recommend the
Historic Towns & Tequila-Making (PV07) excursion. You will get to tour the historic towns of Porvenir and El Valle, then visit the rustic village of Mezcales to learn about the production of tequila and enjoy some samples at the local tequila distillery. Finally, your tour ends with an authentic Mexican lunch at a local restaurant, which is included with the price of your tour. This option combines local flavors with sightseeing that you wouldn’t usually find on your own.
If that option isn’t exactly what you had in mind, then don’t worry because there are over 40+ different Port Adventures offered for your stop in
Puerto Vallarta. You can use the filters to narrow down by Activity Level (Athletic, Moderate, or Mild) or choose your Experience Type from categories including Active, Family Friendly, Nature, Sightseeing, and more. Since all of the Port Adventures have been vetted by Disney Cruise Line, you simply cannot go wrong with whatever option you choose.
I hope you have a fantastic time on your Halloween sailing this October. If you have any other questions before embarkation day, then feel free to reach back out to us at planDisney. Happy sailing!
