Do you have recommendations to honor a loved one who has recently past? Helping a friend who wants to honor her MIL. They spent their last vacations together at WDW! Can you still buy a brick for the walkway at MK? All ideas and suggestions appreciated!

    Hi Rane,

How thoughtful that your friend wants to honor her Mother-In-Law at a place where they shared so many wonderful memories. I hope that walking through the parks and experiencing all the magic that comes along with a Disney vacation brings her peace and comfort. Unfortunately, the brick program, where guests could purchase and have engraved a brick on the walkway leading up to Magic Kingdom ended in the late 1990s. Similarly, the Leave a Legacy program at Epcot ended in 2007 as well.  Another suggestion is for your friend to purchase a memento of her fond memories, such as a Disney pendant or bracelet (they are available in many gift shops in a variety of price ranges and styles, from costume jewelry to gold and silver) and wear it in her Mother-in-Law's honor.

    Have a wonderful trip.
