Recommendations for the best places to eat/make reservations in Disneyland for 6 adults, a 2 year old, and a 8 month old?

Greetings, Alyssa! It looks like it’s time to start thinking about one of my favorite things to do… eating all the deliciousness the Disneyland Resort has to offer!

I’d recommend planning at least one Character Dining experience for your group. There are five to choose from, including my favorite, Minnie & Friends – Breakfast in the Park, which is the only one offered inside the parks. The other four experiences are all inside a Disneyland Resort hotel.

Inside Disneyland Park, one of my favorite dining experiences is Blue Bayou Restaurant, which is adjacent to the Pirates of the Caribbean attraction, so you can watch passenger boats sail by as you dine. Cafe Orleans is another yummy option nearby. The Monte Cristo is a must! For a snack or light meal on-the-go, stop by Bengal Barbecue – the bacon-wrapped asparagus is divine!

At Disney California Adventure Park, check out Lamplight Lounge on Pixar Pier, with adorable Pixar-themed décor and delicious food and cocktails. A great quick-service option at Disney California Adventure Park is Flo’s V8 Cafe – head to the back left corner for a booth on the window facing Radiator Springs Racers, a great distraction for hungry little ones!

Reservations can be made up to 60 days prior to your arrival date, so you may notice that some popular dining spots may already be booked. Keep checking online or on the Disneyland app, or by calling (714) 781-DINE.

Enjoy eating your way through the Happiest Place on Earth!

Meet the Panelist: Kristin, California

Greetings from sunny California! I live less than an hour from the Disneyland Resort, and have been an Annual Passholder (and now a Magic Key Passholder) for more than 20 years! As a mom of three kids ages 5-10, I consider myself an expert at navigating the Disneyland Resort with little ones. My family of five can’t get enough of the magic and happiness we encounter every time we step foot on Main Street, U.S.A. I look forward to sprinkling pixie dust on your next visit to the Happiest Place on Earth! Learn More About Kristin
