    Would you recommend going to the water parks in December?

    December is one of those crazy months where the Florida weather could be quite hot or they could get one of their first cold spells before the holidays!  When guests ask about planning time for swimming I always suggest you put in down in pencil!

    The water parks are awesome and some of the best in the country.  However, so many of the water attractions require you to leave the water and stand in line. If the temperatures are chilly this does not make for an enjoyable day at the park since you will spend so much time out in the air. The water itself is always heated to 82 degrees but it is the air temperature that will make it most uncomfortable.

    As you are planning your vacation consider saving a half day for a water park.....don't go in the morning when the air will be at the coolest.  Have a back up plan in mind for what you can do if the weather is not cooperating.  As it gets closer to your vacation you can decide or even once you arrive.
